Welcome All!
With great excitement, we announce our first annual virtual Conference on Intersectionality, April 18, 2026, from 12 pm to 4 pm EST! With support from Heritage University, Keiser University, and Minnesota State University Mankato, we invite abstract submissions to present at our inaugural conference.
The Conference on Intersectionality is a virtual conference and one of the first of its kind, focusing on intersectionality through an interdisciplinary lens. This conference's purpose and driving force is to seek out further critical examination of intersectional elements that make up who we are and provide an equitable, safe space for all to come, consider, and grow through dialogue and discourse.
What types of submissions are we looking for?
- Keynote Speaker (Due March 15, 2026)
- Paper or Poster presentations (15-minute presentation) (Due April 1, 2026)
- Round Table (45 minutes) (Due April 1, 2026)
- Deep Dive Discussion (30 minutes) (Due April 1, 2026)

We welcome abstract submissions from all academic and professional backgrounds who seek to further explore how intersectionality works within their respective fields. Below are examples of categories, fields of study, and areas of interest (this is not all encompassing):
